Beauty College of America is a private educational
institute providing vocational education in the field
of cosmetology. Owned and operated very successfully
by Tom and Joy Carey since 1965, it was originally located
on the corner of Main Street and Jonesboro Road.
In 1977, a new building was purchased and the school
moved from its original leased building to its present
location; 1171 Main Street in Forest Park, Georgia.
The school was designed and built by Tom and Joy Carey
exclusively for use as a beauty college.
In June 2001, the Beauty College of America purchased
the vacant bank building and lot next door to the school.
We are in the process of converting this property into
administrative offices and additional parking for the
school. The renovation is expected to be complete in
the near future.
Members of the teaching staff of Beauty College of
America regularly attend seminars and workshops locally,
as well as those throughout the United States, in order
to keep up to date on new techniques and practices.
They are knowledgeable in the latest hair styling trends
and training methods. For this reason, Beauty College
of America's teachers are certified and approved by
the State Board of Cosmetology.
To be progressive, one must be ready to accept new
ideas, changes and challenges, which are constantly
offered in the field of cosmetology -- at Beauty College
of America we are dedicated to remaining on the cutting
edge of our field.
Visitors are welcomed and encouraged to tour our modern
facilities.
The Beauty College of America does not discriminate
on the basis of sex, race, ethnic origin, religion,
sexual orientation, age or disability in its hiring
or admissions policies.
