Nail Technician Course
The 525-hour nail technician course of study is designed
to prepare students to become professional nail technicians.
Like the other courses offered by the school, students
are taught on a theoretical and clinical/practical basis.
After completion, students are awarded a diploma by
the school and are eligible to take the state board
examination to be licensed as nail technicians.
The Georgia state board of cosmetology requires that
students participating in this program must be in school
at least three (3) months. The average full-time student
in this program completes the course in approximately
four and one-half (4 1/2) months.
Jobs are readily available in any part of the United
States and opportunities including manicurist, nail
technician, platform artist, salon manager and manufacturer's
product consultant. Also, with a small amount of capital,
a student may open a salon.
